About service

The eID Check authenticates a client using an electronic identification scheme, such as BankID or MitID. By leveraging these schemes, the service securely validates a client’s details against the records held by the issuing scheme.

This check provides a high level of assurance for use cases such as onboarding, account activation, and strong customer authentication.

It currently supports the following eID schemes:
