# Reports

Create customizable reports on your client population and platform usage, then export the results as CSV.

ComplyCube Reports provides ready-made, customizable reports across clients, checks, [screening](/documentation/product-guides/watchlist-pep-and-adverse-media/aml-screening-check.md), [workflow sessions](/documentation/product-guides/compliance-studio/workflows.md), and [cases](/documentation/product-guides/due-diligence-tools/advanced-case-management.md).

Use reports to filter, preview, and export data as CSV files for operational analysis, audits, and record keeping.

### Reports Overview

Reports helps your team answer everyday operational questions without custom queries or manual spreadsheets. Each report is built around a specific question, such as **Which clients are high risk?** or **Whose identity documents are expiring soon?**

You can:

* Choose from ready-made reports for clients, workflows, screening, checks, and cases.
* Refine reports with **filters** and select the **columns** you need.
* **Preview** results in the Portal before generating a file.
* Generate large reports in the background and get **notified in the Portal** when they’re ready to download, with optional **email notifications**.
* Export [Smart Form](/documentation/product-guides/compliance-studio/smart-forms.md) answers with one column for each question.

### Report types

Choose a report based on the data you want to review.

<table data-search="false"><thead><tr><th>If you need to...</th><th>Choose</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Review all clients</td><td><strong>Clients</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review company ownership and control</td><td><strong>Company associations and ownership</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find companies with unverified owners or officers</td><td><strong>Unverified owners and officers</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find companies with no recorded officers or owners</td><td><strong>Companies without officers or owners</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review clients classified as high risk</td><td><strong>High-risk client register</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find client profiles with missing details</td><td><strong>Incomplete client profiles</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review clients by lifecycle stage</td><td><strong>Clients by stage</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review changes to client stages</td><td><strong>Stage changes</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find clients who have not completed onboarding</td><td><strong>Clients without a completed workflow session</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find clients who have not started their flow</td><td><strong>Flow links not started</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review workflow session outcomes</td><td><strong>Workflow sessions</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Analyze answers collected through Smart Forms</td><td><strong>Smart Form answers</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review clients monitored for AML</td><td><strong>Screening monitoring status</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review screening matches by decision status</td><td><strong>Screening matches by decision</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review ongoing monitoring alerts</td><td><strong>Ongoing monitoring alerts</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Find identity documents approaching expiry</td><td><strong>Expiring identity documents</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review the results of your checks</td><td><strong>Checks</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review items waiting for review</td><td><strong>Review backlog</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Review open cases and their owners</td><td><strong>Open cases</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>

Exports from the **Clients**, **Checks**, and **Sessions** pages are limited to **25,000 records**. For larger datasets, use the corresponding **Clients**, **Checks**, or **Workflow sessions** report, which supports up to **500,000 rows**. If a page export exceeds the limit, the Portal opens the matching report with your filters applied. Standard export settings still apply.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.complycube.com/documentation/product-guides/due-diligence-tools/reports.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
