# 3 Dec: Policies & Aadhaar

This release strengthens global compliance coverage, expands identity verification capabilities, and improves automation through workflow-level policy enforcement.

### **New features**

* [Compliance Policies](/documentation/product-guides/compliance-studio/policies.md) were introduced, enabling teams to enforce regulatory and industry requirements directly within a workflow. Policies are automatically evaluated during verification, ensuring consistent decisioning aligned with your compliance framework.
* [Aadhaar Verification for India](/documentation/product-guides/identity-verification/eid-check.md) was added as a supported identity scheme within **eID checks**, enabling organizations to verify customer identities using Aadhaar details through a secure, privacy-preserving process.

### **Improvements**

* [Multi-Bureau Checks](/documentation/product-guides/identity-verification/multi-bureau-check.md) were enhanced with broader coverage across additional countries, including **Hungary**, **Lithuania**, **Paraguay**, **United Arab Emirates**, and **Venezuela**.
* [Policy Evaluation](/documentation/product-guides/compliance-studio/workflows.md#compliance-policies) results were added to workflow sessions, making it easier to see which policies were applied, how they were assessed, and whether any triggered an outcome requiring attention.
* **Portal experience** updates introduced clearer policy descriptions, improved grouping by regulatory theme, and easier navigation within workflow settings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.complycube.com/documentation/changelog/2025/1-december-compliance-policies-and-aadhaar-plus-multi-bureau-updates.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
